DW-100 is an autonomous DVD recorder from Canon that allows you to record your videos from camera to DVD. Surely there are lot many available in the market doing the same. Yet this one stands out for its support to AVCHD codec apart from standard MPEG-2.
The new recorder can write up your HD videos recorded with AVCHD codec. The burnt DVDs are compatible with any BD(Blu-Ray disk) players as well. You can even plug in this gadget to PC or MAC with the USB2 connection.
The DW-100 from Canon will be on sale by March 2008.
