I have my comp hooked up to my LCD tv. Would this essentially be the same as having a blue-ray dvd player?

    Hi Brad,

Even though it works by adding a Blu-Ray rom drive to your PC, I would suggest opting for a standalone Blu-Ray player. Standalone players always deliver better quality pictures on TV.
